Need recommendations on a soothing crib toy to aid in falling asleep?

Any recommendations on a crib toy such as the rainforest soother or Fish aquarium that will assist in helping my baby fall asleep? I can’t decide which one to get based on the reviews…

I really liked the fish one – it had volume control to keep it nice and quiet so it wasn’t overpowering – and the option to have JUST the music playing, no lights or anything else. There were different tunes and would play for about 10 minutes, then stop. The batteries lasted a LONG time due to just using the music. I’d end up humming along while rocking my son and even as a toddler he liked listening to it play. It strapped securely to the crib, so there were no worries about it falling. What’s funny is I didn’t think we’d use it at all, got it as a shower gift and it ended up being something we used almost every night!

My SIL has used it for all 3 of her babies, and I used it for my son and have kept it for my second child.

Don’t bother with a glow-worm, as the music/light is only on for maybe 15 seconds before you have to make it go again – totally useless! I found mobiles were SO loud that it wasn’t soothing at all – I got rid of the one we were given – plus it is LOUD to wind up. (maybe it was just mine though) I didn’t go for animals/toys with them either because I didn’t want toys in the crib until he was older, and none I saw played the music for 5-10 minutes, long enough to lull my son to sleep.
